Dr. Sara Bolden is a licensed physical therapist and board certified women's health clinical specialist focused exclusively in helping and healing individuals with pelvic pain, urogynecologic disorders and pelvic floor dysfunctions. She is the first board-certified women's health clinical specialist in Atlanta and metro-Atlanta region and started one of Atlanta's first pelvic floor rehabilitation practices devoted entirely to helping individuals with pelvic pain and pelvic floor disorders. Dr. Bolden is the author of What a Girl Wants: The Good Girls' Guide to Great Sex, a published book educating women about their bodies and helping them have healthy, enjoyable sex lives. Dr. Bolden is an alumnus of LSU receiving a BS inBiochemistry as well as Shenandoah University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2004. Dr. Bolden believes that treating individuals holistically is the key to lasting results and incorporates wellness protocols with every patient. Dr. Bolden has a passion for women's health and maintains an evidence-based practice in which she continually reviews research for the latest, most effective treatments available for patients. Dr. Bolden isa current member of the American Physical Therapy Association, Section onWomen's Health, Georgia State chapter of APTA, Interstitial CystitisNetwork and International Society of the Study of Women's Sexual Health(ISSWSH).
