Sri Contractor is a current medical student at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine who is committed to advocacy work in women's sexual health.

Sri Contractor is a current medical student at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine, Class of 2026. Her interests include women’s sexual health, medical education, trauma-informed care, and preventive medicine. Sri earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Loyola University Chicago before continuing to pursue an MD at Loyola Stritch School of Medicine.

In medical school, Sri has been actively involved in The Medical Student Forum on Female Sexual Medicine, serving as Education Chair, during which she worked on a project addressing the knowledge gap in female sexual health within the medical school curriculum. She also collaborated with the physician-led, national non-profit, the Period Education Project, to bring a chapter to Loyola Stritch School of Medicine. Through this, Sri and a team of co-medical students have led several interactive workshops to debunk myths and provide accurate information about the menstrual cycle, with the goal of reducing stigma and empowering young girls with knowledge about their own bodies.

Sri began writing for Prosayla to provide informative articles on vulvar health—an often-overlooked aspect of women’s health. Through her writing, she aims to normalize conversations around vulvar and genital skin health and offer support to those facing these challenges.

She is excited to continue growing and learning during residency and looks forward to joining Prosayla's supportive learning community dedicated to empowering patients with knowledge about sexual and reproductive health.
