Meet Jennifer Romanello, MD

Jen Romanello, MD an internal medicine resident at NYU (Class of 2027). She attended medical school Rush Medical College in Chicago (Class of 2024) and grew up in Manhattan, NY. Her professional interests include sexual medicine and menopause, preventive and lifestyle medicine, and chronic pain. She is president of the Medical Student Forum on Female Sexual Medicine, which has created educational, research, writing, mentorship, and networking opportunities for students since 2020. She has spoken about her work on multiple podcasts, and has been recognized as starting a movement among medical students to get involved in the field of female sexual medicine. Her clinical research and publications have focused on topics including clitoral pathology, chronic pelvic pain, medical education, and infertility. She is co-leader of the Early Career Special Interest Group at the Association for the Treatment of Neuroplastic Symptoms (ATNS) and is an active member of the International Society for the Study of Women's Sexual Health (ISSWSH), and the Menopause Society.
