Pooja Prasad is a fourth-year medical student at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She is interested in pursuing OB/GYN in residency. Her research interests include how we evaluate women’s pain in the medical setting; she has published research on biomarkers for pelvic pain among youth with endometriosis. As the current American Medical Women’s Association Advocacy Co-Chair she amplifies the advocacy interests of medical students nationwide. In her spare time she enjoys Zumba, running, and curating her out-of-hospital wardrobe.
