I am the founder and CEO of Femme Vie Health, a concierge gynecology practice
serving patients in New York, and I have a telehealth practice for those in Michigan. While I
assist patients in all aspects of female health, I focus on sexual and menopausal health as well
as intimacy coaching. I believe that all women, regardless of their backgrounds, have the
potential to live life to its fullest.
As a board certified OBGYN, I expanded my knowledge and care as a sexual health specialist
with certification from University of Michigan as a sexual counselor and educator. I graduated
from the University of Michigan - Dearborn with Honors, receiving a Bachelor’s of Science in
Biochemistry. Following my undergraduate experience, I acquired my Doctorate in Osteopathic
Medicine at Michigan State University, completing my residency in gynecology and obstetrics in
Michigan. I am also a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner as well as an ISSWSH Fellow.
In 2023, I gave a TEDx talk in Oshkosh, Wisconsin titled “Sexual Education for Physicians,
Lessons from a Muslim Gynecologist”. I was also honored by my alma mater, University of
Michigan - Dearborn, by being named Alumni of the Year 2024 for my advocacy work through
my podcast - Muslim Sex Podcast. In this podcast, I make sexual and menopausal education
accessible to people globally. I am one of the co-authors of the books “Thriving after Burnout”
and “Made for More 2”.
